Tempus Fugit...when you're having fun...

And, I feel like I'm losing control of some areas in my life.... my room - Eeek! and I was doing so well.

But, when the child looks like this

and the garage looks like this - AFTER doing a car boot sale

and I've accepted a challenge to do this at my next local crop

and I keep getting 'it's split again Mum!!' to repair this

I think I can be forgiven for only completing these?

Toys at Mums - sort and purge - hence the car boot!! Help Mum with her loft -- hence the car boot Shopohlic series - and yes. They went on the car boot!!

132 items left to do. Still some part dones tho.

Off now to have my last vodka and chocolate - not in the same glass. Honest!! We go on holiday 9weeks tomorrow and my belly needs to do some shrinking.

So, on top of everything else I'm going to be 'watching what I eat' OR rather in my case. My OH will be watching what I eat - yay!!

Am I exhausted yet? That'll be a 'Yes' then

Scrapbook LO's - Sort into better order - yes, I got the Mother round so I'll be putting into my new D-Ring files sometime soon

Warrington Crop? - this was a prompt to remind myself to try and get onto another crop cos I miss the monthly crop at Warrington so much. But, the way things are at the moment I'm quite happy with where I go and what I'm doing - and with starting back at College (more to follow) - I'm watching what I fill my spare time up with.

Got 2011 calenders to do something with - recycled them at the retreat last week - they ended up being to large a typeface for what I wanted them for - oops!!!

Cousin & her Family - this was a prompt to spur me into seeing more of my extended family 0 but as there's a 40th party this w/end - where I'll get to see everyone - think this 'to do' item is covered.

2011 Holiday to book - yay -going back to Majorca cos I love it so. Probably should have bought a flat there 6 yrs ago seeing as I've been there 8 times within that time.

Read Twilight Books - yes, all of them and they were lovely - strange but compelling, happy that I've read them. Probably wouldn't read them again though.

That's it for now, child has just arrived home. So Mum duties are calling.

Weekend away

Spent last weekend at Sarahs Cards Retreat held at the Devere Hotel in Daresbury. Had a fantastic time in the company of other Scrappers and managed to finish 2 of the 6 classes which as my friends know is pretty hot darn good for me! I didn't actually attend one class so 2 out of 5 is even better?

Such a shame that we have to suffer the deflation after when we come back to the real world. And my lovely family appeared to have emptied ALL their clothes into the baskets to be laundered. I'm sure they didn't have that many clothes when I left for the w/end. Think they'd been saving it up for me?

Grrrrr and I love ironing ssooooooooooooo much. NOT!!

OMG - these shoes are fab, fab, fab but what a pita trying to find summat that goes with them!!!

. . . . and the pigeons are enjoying a morning bath - this image just made me smile this morning. Not sure the council had a Pigeon Bath in their heads when they were doing the plans for this area of calm!!!
